Tom Cruise’s Mena Now American Made Coming Late 2017

Universal Pictures is pushing back Tom Cruise’s upcoming Mena to late 2017 and renaming it American Made.

Cruise will star as real-life American pilot and hustler Barry Seal, who in the 80s, infiltrated kingpin Pablo Escobar’s cocaine empire for the CIA, in one of its biggest covert operations in its short 68-year history.

Directed by Doug Liman, American Made reunites Cruise and Liman after making 2014’s Edge of Tomorrow. The film is set to hit theaters September 29, 2017.
