Monday night’s Macy’s 4th of July Fireworks Spectacular took the top slot in the ratings. In comparison to last year’s numbers, there was an increase of about 50 percent in the ratings. The special averaged a 1.5 rating among adults 18-49. The other networks did not fare well in the ratings as none of the competitors , such as ABC, CBS, and FOX could crack a 1.0.
