Tiffany Haddish to Voice Lead Character in Netflix Straight-to-Series Animated Comedy

Fans of last year’s sleeper hit Girls Trip will love the latest Netflix casting. Netflix has announced a straight-to-series order for Tuca and Bertie, a 10-episode animated comedy with Girls Trip’s Tiffany Haddish set to voice one of the leads.

The show will be lead by the team that brought us BoJack Horseman. Tuca and Bertie will revolve around the friendship between two 30-year-old bird women who live in the same apartment building. Tuca and Bertie joins a a growing animated roster at Netflix that includes BoJack, F is for Family, Castlevania and Big Mouth.

The casting of Tiffany Haddish continues her breakout success after Girls Trip. Her upcoming schedule include Tracy Morgan’s The Last O.J., co-starring with Kevin Hart in Universal’s Night School.
