The Sopranos Prequel Adds Billy Magnussen and Corey Stoll

A day after Vera Farmiga and Jon Bernthal were added to the upcoming prequel to The Sopranos, The Many Saints of Newark, two more huge additions were added to the upcoming film. Corey Stoll and Billy Magnussen have joined Alessandro Nivola, Jon Bernthal, and Vera Farmiga in the film.

While the last two days have cast four new people, only Nivola’s character is known he is playing Dickie Montisanti. Series creator, David Chase is co-writing the screenplay, which is set during the 1960’s Newark riots, with producer Lawrence Konner. Alan Taylor is directing.
