The Resident & 9-1-1 Steady On Monday Night For Fox After Third Season Renewal

Fox had a steady night from its recent Monday night renewals which bode well for their consistent future.

On FOX, recently renewed 9-1-1 (1.2, 5.66 million viewers) and The Resident (0.9, 4.87 million viewers) both matched their ratings from a week ago. 9-1-1 also tied with American Idol as the night’s second-highest-rated broadcast.

On NBC, The Voice remained Monday night’s highest-rated primetime broadcast, despite ticking down from the 1.7 it had scored a week ago to a 1.6 rating in adults 18-49 and 8.93 million viewers this time around. The Enemy Within ended the night for NBC with the same 0.8 rating as its previous episode and 5.22 million viewers. Combined, the two shows won all six of the night’s primetime half-hours, giving NBC a dominant win over the other networks, in both the adults 18-49 and total-viewer measures.

On ABC, American Idol held onto the 1.2 series low rating it had scored last Monday with a total of 6.35 million viewers, while The Fix slipped from its series premiere’s 0.7 to a 0.6 and 3.92 million viewers in its second week.

On CBS, both The Neighborhood (1.0, 6.32 million viewers) and Magnum P.I. (0.7, 5.63 million viewers) returned in steady fashion, but the same could not be said for Man with a Plan, which slipped from a 0.9 to a 0.8 demo rating and 5.34 million viewers.

On The CW, Arrow stayed even with yet another 0.3 demo score and 1.05 million viewers.
