The New Mutants (New Official Trailer)

A new trailer for the long-delayed X-Men film, The New Mutants has arrived & judging from what I’m seeing, the film may be worth the long wait.

It has been over two years since we got the first trailer for The New Mutants and since then the film has been shuffled on the release schedule so much that many people out there thought we may never lay eyes on the film. The smaller-scale X-Men movie has been plagued by reshoot rumors & other issues but now its new April release date appears solid as the marketing train is set to take off.

The New Mutants stars Anya Taylor-Joy, Maisie Williams, Henry Zaga, Blu Hunt, and Charlie Heaton as five young mutants who are imprisoned against their will while discovering their powers. The film, which has been the idea since the first trailer dropped all that time ago, will have a more horror-inspired narrative that sets it apart from its comic book counterparts.

The Josh Boone-directed The New Mutants was originally going to open April 13, 2018, before it first got pushed to February 22, 2019. The film was then moved to August 2, 2019, by Disney after the Fox merger, only for the Mouse House to then settle on its new release April 2020 release date.

The New Mutants hits screens on April 3.
