Quentin Tarantino and J.J Abrams Teaming Up For A Star Trek Film

In a dream combo, Quentin Tarantino and J.J Abrams are teaming up to bring a Star Trek film to the big screen. Taratino is said to have a pitch for the film and both he and Abrams have plans to write the film. Paramount Pictures who release the recent Star Trek films have no comment on the pairing.

Abrams originaly rebooted the franchise with 2009’s Star Trek and followed that up with 2013’s Star Trek Into Darkness, before transitioning to the Star Wars franchise.  Paramount previously stated it was developing a fourth Star Trek film to star Chris Hemsworth as Captain Kirk’s (Chris Pine) father, but no directed is yet to be attached to the planned film. No word is this is the film Tarantino and Abrams are working on.
