I’ve mentioned before that I’ve been fooled by many trailers for sequels in the Terminator franchise so while I have found each look at Terminator: Dark Fate to be quite compelling, I’ve still been cautiously optimistic. My optimism has now hit a new fever pitch because Terminator: Dark Fate recently held surprise screenings and the first reactions suggest it’s the best Terminator film since Terminator 2: Judgment Day.
A lot of the reactions call it the Force Awakens of the Terminator franchise as it goes back to basics and becomes a return to form for the brand. It’s also being described as a satisfying and exciting reboot that represents the best parts of the first and second film. The action is also being called top-notch while the performers are all receiving raves for their work in the film.
Terminator: Dark Fate hits screens on November 1 and you can check out some of the first reactions below:

I was skeptical of TERMINATOR: DARK FATE. Thought the trailers were not great. But I would up enjoying it quite a bit, and the difference maker (vs the other post T2 sequels) is Linda Hamilton. It’s always been HER story and Hamilton adds the needed weight here.
