Supergirl Ticks Up For The CW On Monday Night

After a few weeks of falling below its season average, Supergirl ticked up to its usual demo number for The CW.

On The CW, Supergirl ticked up a tenth to a 0.5 demo rating and 1.51 million viewers. iZombie ended their night and was steady at a 0.2 demo rating and 720,000 viewers.

On ABC, The all-athlete edition of Dancing With the Stars posted the franchise’s lowest premiere ratings Monday night. The show drew a 1.1 rating in adults 18-49 and 8.45 million viewers, down 0.3 from the fall cycle’s debut and off a full point from the 2.1 for the spring 2017 cycle. The Crossing was also low at a 0.5 demo rating and 3.80 million viewers, off 0.2 vs. last week.

The Voice led the night for NBC with a 1.6 demo rating and 8.67 million viewers, up a tenth of a point from a week ago. The season finale of Good Girls held steady at a 0.9 demo rating and 4.24 million viewers. Can Good Girls pull out a renewal? It’s very possible since the show was relatively steady and I hear delayed viewing was decent. We will soon find out at the upfronts in a few weeks.

On FOX, The Resident was even with last week’s preliminary 0.8 demo rating and 3.87 million viewers (it adjusted up in the finals), but Lucifer fell a tenth to a series-low 0.6 demo rating and 2.82 million viewers.

On CBS, Kevin Can Wait (0.8, 5.02 million viewers) and Superior Donuts (0.7, 4.14 million viewers) each slipped a tenth from their last episodes on, while Man with a Plan held at a 0.8 demo rating and 4.79 million viewers. Elementary premiered to a 0.6 demo rating and 4.68 million viewers, down from 0.8 for its fall 2017 debut but in line with its 2016-17 average.
