Spider-Man: Far From Home Trailer Hits Studio Views Record

Despite being littered with spoilers for Avengers: Endgame, it didn’t stop the Spider-Man: Far From Home trailer from getting massive views & in the process, it hit a new studio record for Sony.

The latest Spider-Man trailer hit 135.2 million views in 24 hours. The franchise already held Sony’s 24-hour record (130 million views) set in January by the Far From Home teaser trailer. Third on the list? That would be the trailer launch for the previous film in the series, Spider-Man: Homecoming (116 million views). That July 2017 film went on to gross $334.2 million domestically and $880.1 million worldwide.

Social conversation volume was also the highest in the studio’s history, topping 1.5 million posts in the first 24-hours. The response to Endgame & wanting to know what comes next likely fueled more interest in this Spider-Man trailer. Typically, a second trailer for a film takes a slight dip in views compared to the first trailer but Endgame likely made this a must view trailer for fans.

Spider-Man: Far From Home hits screens on July 2 and advanced tickets are now on sale!
