Ryan Gosling is set to bring the best-selling graphic novel The Underwater Welder by cartoonist Jeff Lemire to life. Gosling will co-produce with Ken Kao and Anonymous Content. The novel tells the story of a man in the dangerous profession of underwater welding, who has a supernatural encounter at the bottom of the sea.
Additionally, Lemire, Chris Staros (EIC of Top Shelf), and Ted Adams (CEO/Publisher, IDW Publishing) are attached as executive producers on the project.
