Rogue One: A Star Wars Story Run Time Revealed

In just a little under two months, we will be taken back to a galaxy far far away. This time, we will be taken away from the characters we are all familiar with and introduced to not only new faces but an in-depth story. According to Event Cinemas, the official runtime for the movie is 133 minutes or 2 hours and 13 minutes long, which is just two minutes shorter than Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens.

Rogue One is set to take place during a time of epic battles before the events of Star Wars: A New Hope, when the Rebel Alliance is just starting to gain its footing against the Empire and attempt to steal the plans of the Death Star, Jedi were an endangered species and power of the force was questioned.
