With the news that Star Wars Episode IX will release in May of 2019, more news about the films script may have just been revealed. While it has been known that Jurassic World director Colin Trevorrow would helm the directors chair, early reports indicated that director of The Last Jedi Rian Johnson would be writing an early treatment of the film’s story, which would then evolve to the film’s actual script.
But according to a recent tweet from Johnson, that information is not correct,
