9-1-1 ended its first season pretty much how it started: As the top scripted program of Wednesday night.
The series scored a 1.7 demo rating in the 18-49 and 6.58 million viewers for FOX. The show was up 0.1 week to week and has been a huge win for the network. The X-Files began the night for the network by rising a tenth to a 0.9 demo rating and 3.36 million viewers.
On NBC, Law & Order: SVU (1.4, 6.34 million viewers) and Chicago PD (1.3, 6.99 million viewers) each hit five-episode highs for the network.
ON CBS, SEAL Team ticked up a tenth to a 1.0 demo rating and 6.47 million viewers while Criminal Minds was steady at a 0.9 demo rating and 5.22 million viewers.
On The CW, Riverdale (0.4, 1.13 million viewers) and Life Sentence (0.2, 540,000 viewers) were even with last week.
Three of ABC’s four comedies improved on their last episodes, with Speechless coming in a tenth below its second-best rating of the season with a 1.2 demo rating and 4.64 million viewers. Modern Family (1.7, 5.56 million viewers) and American Housewife (1.3, 4.45 million viewers) each rose three tenths while The Goldbergs (1.6, 5.73 million viewers) was up a tenth. Designated Survivor (0.7, 3.98 million viewers) was even with its last episode.
