Reel TV Ratings: (Wednesday) – Empire Tops Wednesday Night

Empire took up its usual perch on top for Wednesday night viewing and remained steady week to week in the process.

On FOX, Empire led the night with a 1.8 rating in adults 18-49 and 5.80 million viewers, even with last week’s final number (it was at 1.7 in the fast nationals). Star followed and scored a 1.3 demo rating and 4.29 million viewers, also steady week to week.

On CBS, Criminal Minds (0.9, 5.15 million viewers) dipped a tenth week to week but SEAL Team, however, improved a tenth to a 1.0 demo rating and 6.29 million viewers.

On NBC, The Blacklist (0.8, -0.1, 5.10 million viewers), Law & Order: SVU (1.1, -0.3, 5.40 million viewers) and Chicago PD (1.1, -0.2, 5.84 million viewers) all fell from their last episodes.

On ABC, Modern Family (1.4, 4.92 million viewers) and American Housewife (1.1, 3.96 million viewers) were off a tenth vs. last week, and The Goldbergs (1.2, 5.20 million viewers) slipped two tenths from last week’s finals (it was at 1.3 in the fast nationals). Alex, Inc. (0.9, 3.56 million viewers) and Designated Survivor (0.6, 3.36 million viewers) were even.
