Reel TV Ratings: (Thursday) – Will & Grace Season Finale Hits Season Low

Will & Grace ended the first season of its revival on a low note. While the series has been renewed through season three, it has definitely come down from its premiere numbers in the fall.

Will & Grace ended its season with a 0.9 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 3.60 million viewers, even with last week’s season low. All the other NBC comedies were even with last week’s numbers: Superstore (0.8, 3.17 million viewers), AP Bio (0.6, 2.28 million viewers), & Champions (0.5, 1.95 million viewers). Chicago Fire ended their night with a 1.0 demo rating and 5.41 million viewers, up a tenth week to week.

On CBS, The Big Bang Theory led the night as usual, but its 2.3 demo rating and 12.73 million viewers were off a tenth from last week’s fast nationals (it adjusted up in the finals). Young Sheldon (1.9, 11.57 million viewers) also fell a tenth while the rest of the network’s lineup was steady: Mom (1.4, 8.46 million viewers), Life in Pieces (0.9, 6.16 million viewers) and SWAT (0.8, 5.12 million viewers).

On ABC, Grey’s Anatomy was steady with a 1.7 demo rating and 6.75 million viewers while Station 19 came down 0.2 to a 1.0 demo score and 5.12 million viewers. Scandal, however, ticked up a tenth to a 0.9 demo rating and 3.88 million viewers.

On The CW, Arrow dipped a tenth to a 0.3 demo rating and 870,000 viewers. This is the first time this season the show has dipped below a million viewers. Supernatural was down 0.2 week to week with a 0.4 demo rating and 1.41 million viewers.

On FOX, Gotham held steady with a 0.7 demo rating and 2.54 million viewers.
