Reel TV Ratings: The Assassination Of Gianni Versace Finale Holds Steady For FX, Krypton Premieres Well For Syfy

The nine-episode season of American Crime Story came to a close last night and it maintained its steady numbers in the 18-49 demo.

The season finale earned a 0.3 demo rating and 1.19 million viewers. For comparison’s sake, The People v. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story season finale scored a 1.3 in the 18-49 demo and 3.27 million viewers. Versace was never going to reach the heights of the O.J. season simply because it’s not as well known a story so comparisons are a bit mute. By cable standards, the 0.3 is just fine for FX and the fact that it held this demo score for a few weeks has to be considered a win.

In other cable rating news, the series premiere of Krypton premiered well for Syfy with a 0.4 demo score and 1.32 million viewers. It managed to crack the top 25 cable shows of the night and was on par with the networks’ recent premieres.
