Reel TV Ratings: (Monday) – The Gifted Rises On FOX While Some CBS Comedies Struggle

The Gifted was up week to week for FOX, and ABC’s The Good Doctor is currently ahead of last week, pending updates. That’s about it for good news on the ratings front Monday night as live ratings continue to struggle.

The Gifted posted a 1.1 rating among adults 18-49 & 3.49 million viewers, up 0.1 from a week ago. Lucifer was steady at a 0.8 demo rating & 3.33  million viewers for FOX. ABC had a Monday Night Football pre-emption in Kansas City, so its ratings may adjust down a bit in the finals. The Good Doctor (2.0, 10.88 million viewers) is for the moment up 0.1 over last week.

CBS struggled with the departure of The Big Bang Theory from its Monday lineup, falling to fourth in the network 18-49 race. Kevin Can Wait (1.2, 6.31 million viewers) held steady with last week, but 9JKL tumbled six tenths of a point to a 0.8 demo rating & 5.06 million viewers without a Big Bang lead-in. Superior Donuts premiered to a series-low 0.8 demo score & 4.84 million viewers, and Me, Myself & I (0.7, 3.98 million viewers) and Scorpion (0.7, 4.77 million viewers) were also at their lows.

The Brave scored a season-low 0.8 demo rating & 4.69 million viewers for NBC while the CW’s Supergirl (0.5, 1.83 million viewers) and Valor (0.2, 1.01 million viewers) were even with last week.

Can CBS recover form its Monday ratings tumble? Check back next Tuesday for the Monday ratings recap!
