Directed by Clint Eastwood and starring Academy Award winner Tom Hanks, Sully tells the story of pilot Captain Chesley “Sully” Sullenberger and the “Miracle on the Hudson” when Sully glided his disabled plane onto the waters of the Hudson River, saving the lives of all 155 aboard.
After the miraculous landing, Sully was heralded as a hero in the public and media. An investigation begins to unfold threatening to destroy his reputation and career. Written by Todd Komarnicki, based on the book on the Highest Duty by Sullenberger and Jeffrey Zaslow, Sully stars Aaron Eckhart as his co-pilot Jeff Skiles, and Laura Linney as Sully’s wife, Lorraine.
