Netflix has released a trailer for Velvet Buzzsaw, its creepy new film from the writer & director of Nightcrawler, Dan Gilroy. The new film will reunite him with the star of Nightcrawler, Jake Gyllenhaal.
The film is set in LA’s art scene and shows what happens when “art collides with commerce”. After a series of paintings are discovered, a supernatural force enacts revenge on those who have allowed their greed to get in the way of art. The film also stars Rene Russo, John Malkovich, Toni Collette, Natalia Dyer, Daveed Diggs, Tom Sturridge, & Zawe Ashton.
Velvet Buzzsaw hits Netflix on February 1.
