The Post Named Best Film by National Board of Review

As the first reactions to the upcoming Steven Spielberg film, The Post have been released, the film has already received the first big award of the season. The National Board of Review announced yesterday its 2017 award winners, naming The Post as year’s best film. The Steven Spielberg film about the Pentagon Papers saga also received awards for Best Actor and Actress for its lead performances by Tom Hanks and Meryl Streep. The accolades are the first major awards for the Fox and DreamWorks film, which is set to be released December 22nd in limited release.
