Marvel TV Division Folded Into A Marvel Studio Unit

While this is not news that will surprise many, Marvel TV is being folded into Marvel Studios unit. Jeph Loeb. The executive who is responsible for launching Marvel into live-action scripted TV originals as head of Marvel Television, will remain on board during the transition. It’s unclear when Loeb’s last day is, however, his departure from Marvel has been expected since late October.

Marvel TV senior vp current programming and production Karim Zreik and members of his team will join the Marvel Studios group. With the move to Marvel Studios, there are layoffs that are expected.

The move to Marvel Studios shows the newfound control that Feige will have over the division. The new shows that are set to release in 2020 are all connected to Feige’s already established Marvel Cinematic Universe continuity.
