Patty Jenkins Gives Update On If She’ll Direct Wonder Woman 2

While it is all but confirmed that there is a sequel to the critically acclaimed Wonder Woman, director Patty Jenkins made sure to keep everyone updated on her inclusion in a potential sequel. While it was reported this week that Jenkins was confirmed to direct. According to The Wrap, Warner Bros. failed to pick up the option for Jenkins for the sequel as she was originally  brought in to replace Michelle McLaren.

However, it looks like that will be taken care of pretty soon as Jenkins appeared on Conan O’Brien’s show to talk about the success of the film and was asked  how things were looking for a sequel and if she’d return. Jenkins stated,

“We’re working on it,” Jenkins said. “I hope to. I’d love it. I love the world, and we are all very excited about it.”

It’s safe to say that Warner Bros. will not let Jenkins go in terms of creating a sequel to Wonder Woman especially after the success this past weekend.
