Parasite Named Best Picture Of The Year By The Toronto Film Critics Association

Parasite continues to be an awards season darling as the film is named Best Picture of the Year by the Toronto Film Critics Association.

That wasn’t its only top win from the critics association. They also named the film’s director, Bong Joon Ho, Best Director for his work on the film. Martin Scorsese and Noah Baumbach were named as runner-ups in that category. Lastly, the movie was also chosen as Best Foreign Language Film. Elsewhere, the TFCA chose Adam Driver as Best Actor and Laura Dern as Best Supporting Actress for their roles in Noah Baumbach’s Marriage Story. Lupita Nyong’o was tapped as Best Actress for her performance in Jordan Peele’s horror film Us, and Brad Pitt was named Best Supporting Actor for his work in Quentin Tarantino’s Once Upon a Time in Hollywood. The Irishman took Best Screenplay honors.

The runners-up for Best Picture were The Irishman & Marriage Story, both from Netflix. Voting took place on Sunday with winners announced today. Check out the full list of winners below:
