Reel TV Ratings: (Tuesday) – Black Lightning Dips But Still Solid In Week Two

All eyes were on the second episode of The CW’s Black Lightning an although it did dip from its premiere, it still put up solid numbers for the network.

The series hit a 0.6 demo rating and 1.94 million viewers. The show was down two-tenths of a point from its premiere but is still a little bit ahead of the average for Legends of Tomorrow earlier this season. The Flash scored a 0.7 demo score and 2.04 million viewers and tied its series low in the 18-49 demo. Not sure why the show is dipping since this season is very solid. The numbers are far from a concern but still a curious thing to look into.

On CBS, Bull tied its best adults 18-49 rating of the season Tuesday night. The show scored a 1.3 in the demographic and 11.06 million viewers and was steady week to week. NCIS (1.5, 13.76 million viewers) and NCIS: New Orleans (1.0, 9.20 million viewers) were even with their last episodes two weeks ago. CBS led the night in viewers, per usual, and finished second in adults 18-49.

This Is Us, fresh their SAG Award win for Best Ensemble,  equaled last week’s 2.5 demo rating and 9.33 million viewers for NBC. Chicago Med (1.3, 6.87 million viewers -0.2) fell a bit to end the night. On FOX, Lethal Weapon (1.2, 4.57 million viewers) held steady but LA to Vegas (0.8, 2.61 million viewers) and The Mick (0.7, 1.93 million viewers) dipped a tenth.

ABC aired a night of repeats.
