The Walking Dead is expanding its universe with a third series and it has just been announced that Nico Tortorella will headline the new project at AMC.
The untitled third series will focus on the first generation to come of age in the apocalypse as we know it. Some will become heroes. Some will become villains. In the end, all of them will be changed forever. Nico’s character, Felix, is described as an honorable man of his word who isn’t afraid to fight for others’ safety and acceptance.
Tortorella is currently a series regular on Younger, the hit show that airs on TV Land. That series was recently renewed for a seventh season but filming on The Walking Dead spinoff will not interfere with his role on Younger and he will continue to be featured on that show.
