New Tenet Images Released

Tenet,  as of now, is the first big blockbuster of our abbreviated summer movie season due to the COVID-19 pandemic and many are hoping that Christopher Nolan’s latest won’t be delayed like so many other films have in recent weeks. Warner Bros seems unphased by a potential delay because they have released new images from the film that gives us more of look inside the world of Nolan’s latest thriller.

All of the images place lead actor John David Washington front and center of the action. In one scene, he is staring cryptically through a windowpane that appears to have been cracked by a bullet while another image has Washington sitting inside a car, with a breathing tube and mask attached to his face. Yet another photo has the actor operating a speedboat while a female companion relaxes in the back. The final two images have Washinton interacting with the other major actor in the movie, Robert Pattinson. In one photo, the two are dressed for action, while in the other, both are dressed formally. You can check out the images below:

Like the best Christopher Nolan films, not much is known about Tenet except that the story takes place in the world of international espionage. The more we don’t know about the project the better because Nolan is at his very best when he’s surprising us. The film also stars Elizabeth Debicki, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Kenneth Branagh, Clemence Poesy & Michael Caine.

I’m pretty excited for this one but the big question is will Tenet maintain its July 17 release date? Warner Bros. seems to be waiting this one out before they make their decision but as of now, this is the first big summer release for us to look forward to and I’m crossing my fingers that it doesn’t get pushed back.
