Wonder Woman 1984 Pushed To Summer 2020

Wonder Woman is on the move! It has been announced that Wonder Woman 1984 has been pushed back 7 months to Summer 2020.

Wonder Woman 1984 will now open June 5, 2020. It previously was set to open November 1, 2019. Star Gal Gadot & Warner Bros. tweeted the following today:

“We had tremendous success releasing the first Wonder Woman film during the summer so when we saw an opportunity to take advantage of the changing competitive landscape, we did. This move lands the film exactly where it belongs.”

Warners also announced that it is taking Six Billion Dollar Man off the calendar for now. It had been set to open in the date now occupied by Wonder Woman 1984. The sequel reunites Gal Gadot with Wonder Woman director Patty Jenkins and co-star Chris Pine. Pedro Pascal and Kristen Wiig join the franchise for the sequel as well.
