After the success of Captain America: Civil War, the Russo Brothers’ next venture will have them leaving the MCU and entering the world of TV. The Russo Brothers will team up with Paramount TV and Hulu to adapt the cult classic film The Warriors into a one-hour drama. The reboot will be based on the film, which takes place in New York in 1979 when rival gangs are summoned to meet. What follows are events that lead to The Warriors being targeted by all gangs in the 5 boroughs of New York.
The film has earned cult status throughout the years and has been quoted in other films and music. With the success of the Russo Brothers in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, one can only imagine the success and ideas they can bring to this reboot.
