Mark Hamill Confirms Star Wars: Episode VIII Wrap Date

Star Wars: Episode VIII will wrap up principal photography in just three weeks. Mark Hamill revealed the official date of July 22nd when answering an open-ended question on Twitter. He also indicated that fans can look forward to the next story in the Star Wars universe: Gareth Edwards’ Rogue One: A Star Wars Story on December 16th.

Given the July 22nd date of wrapping, it’s safe to assume that most of the Star Wars cast won’t be attending Comic-Con International in San Diego this year as they’ll be finishing up filming. Don’t be disappointed, though. There could always be surprise appearances.
