The Lego Movie Sequel Gets New Script

The Lego Movie Sequel is getting a new script . Phil Lord and Christopher Miller, the original writers and directors of the first film, are turning over the writing job to Raphael Bob-Waksberg, creator of the Netflix original series BoJack Horseman. Lord and Miller have turned over the ranks to Bob-Waksberg in order to concentrate on the Han Solo spinoff for Lucasfilm. Rob Schrab is set to direct the sequel.

The Lego Movie Sequel hits theaters on May 18, 2018. Be sure to look out for Lego Batman on February 10, 2017 and The Lego Ninjago Movie on September 22, 2017.
