Keira Knightley and Alexander Skarsgård have signed on to star in the upcoming film adaptation of Rhidian Brook’s The Aftermath.
The bestselling novel is set in post-World War II Germany and tells the story of Rachael Morgan and her husband, who has been tasked with rebuilding Hamburg. Directed by James Kent (Testament of Youth), The Aftermath will be scripted by Race‘s Joe Shrapnel and Anna Waterhouse.
