Mission: Impossible – Fallout Scores $6 Million In Thursday Night Previews

The mission got off to a solid start on Thursday with Mission: Impossible – Fallout scoring $6 million in Thursday night previews.

This puts it $2 million ahead of Mission: Impossible – Rouge Nation which grossed $4 million in Thursday night previews. That film went on to gross $55.7 million on its opening weekend which puts Fallout in a good spot to exceed that gross.

The Thursday was also larger than the $4.23 million start for Jason Bourne, which went on to open to $59.2 million.

Should Fallout exceed expectations, it could become not only the biggest opening of the Mission: Impossible franchise but also the largest opening of Tom Cruise’s career. Not a bad feat for the 56-year-old actor.
