After the release of the latest entry into the franchise, Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation in 2015, fans of the franchise have been wondering if there would be another sequel. Rogue Nation brought in $195 million in the domestic box office.
Fans of the franchise will be excited to hear that the sixth film in the Mission Impossible franchise has been greenlit with an official release date of July 27, 2018 from Paramount. The franchise has done very well with their summer release dates and the sixth entry looks to do the same.
