Michael Keaton In Talks To Reprise His Role As Batman In The Flash Film

As a fan of 1989’s Batman, this news is quite the delight!

As first reported by The Hollywood Reporter, Michael Keaton is in talks to return as Bruce Wayne/Batman in the upcoming Flash film directed by  Andy Muschietti.

The news reported by The Hollywood Reporter also adds that if Keaton returns, he wouldn’t just return for Flash but possibly for several other DC-oriented film projects. The role envisioned for the actor is akin to the role played by Samuel Jackson as Nick Fury in the Marvel Cinematic Universe as a mentor or guide.

As of this writing, Warner Bros. had no comment.

For those unaware, Keaton played the role of Batman for 1989’s Batman and the 1992 sequel, Batman Returns.
