Jeph Loeb Says More Marvel Shows Are Coming to ABC

It looks like Agents of SHIELD and Inhumans won’t be the only Marvel shows on ABC. Marvel’s Head of TV Jeph Loeb just spoke out about the network’s future series. Loeb recently sat down with Comic Book Resources to talk about Marvel’s television projects, and it was there the executive stressed more ABC projects are on the way. Loeb stated,

“Absolutely. Absolutely. Obviously these aren’t things I can talk about. But look, as it is with every single one of the networks that we have gotten with that this is with, and whether it’s Fox or it’s FX or it’s Freeform, or it’s Hulu, or it’s Netflix, ABC is always going to be our mothership. It is a Disney-owned network. We are a Disney-owned corporation and we’re a good fit for each other.”

Despite the fact that other shows are in the works for ABC, this will not affect the already established Netlifx Marvel relationship. Daredevil, The Defenders, and all of their shows are going nowhere. According to Loeb, shows like Luke Cage were shifted over to Netflix since they’re content would not be appropriate for ABC.

“I think people confuse the fact that we go to other networks as a sign that we’re not on ABC. The truth of the matter is that those shows weren’t appropriate for us to be on ABC. How do we know that? We talk to ABC and we talk about what is it that you’re looking for?”

Time will tell on what Marvel shows are heading to ABC.
