Manifest Finale Slips On Monday Night at NBC

Manifest began the fall season as one of the biggest new shows across all the networks but it has seen its live ratings wane in the recent weeks. Its finale on Monday was no different as it also continued to slip.

On NBC, the season finale of Manifest hit a 1.0 demo score and 5.42 million viewers, down a tenth from its penultimate episode’s 1.1 last Monday. The upside is that the show is a major player in delayed viewing so I think it’s still safe for renewal if NBC feels there is more story to tell. The network began its night with America’s Got Talent: Champions scoring a 1.7 rating in adults 18-49, even with its broadcast a week ago, and hit a new season high in viewers with 10.53 million – making it the night’s most-watched broadcast by over 4 million viewers.

On ABC, The Bachelor tied its season high in adults 18-49 with a 1.9 and 6.48 million viewers for the second week in a row, winning the night in the demo, while The Good Doctor (1.1, 6.21 million viewers) returned up a tenth from its last episode.

On FOX, The Resident (0.9, 5.13 million viewers) fell a tenth week-to-week, while The Passage posted its fourth straight 0.9 demo score in a row. The series hit 3.50 million total viewers.

On CBS, The Neighborhood (1.1, 6.50 million viewers) dropped two-tenths, and Man with a Plan similarly fell from a 1.0 to a 0.9 demo score and 5.30 million viewers. Magnum P.I. (0.8, 5.93 million viewers) returned, and managed to match its most recent outing, as did Bull (0.7, 6.73 million viewers).

The CW aired reruns for the night.
