Making History Cancelled After One Season

It’s one and done for FOX’s Making History. The time travel comedy has been cancelled after one season.

Pushed to midseason and never fully promoted, Making History landed with a thud on Sunday nights. And those low linear ratings barely improved with time-shifting. As it stands, it’s the lowest-performing scripted series on Fox with just a 0.9 rating in the key demo and only 2.1 million viewers. A case could have been made for the project from prolific Lord and Miller had it been a hit with critics, but it Making History’s reception was decidedly mixed.

Just for clarification, this makes it 3 for 3 on shows about time travel that were cancelled after being developed last fall. The other two that got the axe were Timeless & Time After Time.
