Director James Mangold has announced that Logan is officially rated R. While the news isn’t surprising, it is good to see confirmation of the rating. Rumors that Logan was going to be rated R circulated very early on during production.
Mangold notes that the reasons for the R rating include “strong brutal violence,” “language throughout,” and “brief nudity.”
Official: Please be advised that LOGAN has been rated R for “strong brutal violence and language throughout, and for brief nudity.”
