Airing a Charmed rerun before an all-new episode of Legacies last night did no favors for The CW as it assisted in helping the vampire drama hit a series low in the ratings.
On The CW, Legacies dropped from its previous episode’s 0.4 demo rating season-low 0.2 demo score and 710,000 viewers. The series didn’t get its normal Supernatural lead-in which could explain why the show fell to a low. Legacies has already been renewed for a second season so fans can rest easy.
On ABC, Grey’s Anatomy rebounded well from its series low 1.4 rating a week ago, rising three-tenths to a 1.7 rating in the adults 18-49 demo and 6.86 million viewers. A Million Little Things, also managed to tick back up from a 1.0 to a 1.1 demo rating and 5.27 million viewers, while How to Get Away with Murder slipped a tenth to a series low 0.5 demo score and 2.58 million viewers.
On CBS, after taking a week off, The Big Bang Theory returned to win the primetime ratings again, this time with a 2.3 demo rating and 13.30 million viewers, down slightly from its last outings season-high 2.6 rating and 13.97 million viewers. Young Sheldon similarly fell from a 2.0 to a 1.8 demo score and 11.29 million viewers with its return but was still the night’s second-highest-rated broadcast. Rounding out the night for CBS, Mom (1.3, 8.55 million viewers) and Fam (0.9, 5.68 million viewers) each managed to tick up a tenth or two from their last episodes, but the same could not be said for S.W.A.T., which inched down from a 0.9 to a 0.8 demo score and 5.40 million viewers.
On FOX, Gotham (0.6, 2.19 million viewers) and The Orville (0.7, 3.04 million viewers) both held steady yet again for the network and is doing so despite heavy competition.
On NBC, The Titan Games (1.1, 4.28 million viewers) stayed even week-to-week, as did Brooklyn Nine-Nine (0.8, 2.42 million viewers) and Will & Grace (0.7, 2.68 million viewers). Law & Order: SVU, however, climbed up from its 0.8 last Thursday to a 0.9 demo rating and 3.98 million viewers – winning the 10 PM hour.
