La La Land Gets Honest Trailer Treatment with Oscars-Style Interruption

No one will soon forget the impact La La Land had on cinephiles and while so many people loved the film, there are some who have grown to hate it because of its critical acclaim. With that being said, Screen Junkies’ latest Honest Trailer gets caught up in a bit of a mixup.his time for

This trailer shows La La Land starting like any other, mocking the Damien Chazelle-directed musical as a “tale of passion, love and ditching all that nonsense when your career takes off,” and “one of the most Oscar-nominated films of all time that will have future generations say, ‘A musical about show business? Well, no wonder the Academy lapped it up.'”

During the trailer, the narrator gets distracted in the middle of the trailer while discovering that it shouldn’t be for La La Land at all, but for the eventual best picture winner Moonlight which leads to the trailer ultimately shifting directions.
