The “Bad Girls” of L.A.’s Finest are setting up a return. The season 2 trailer for the series has been released and the Bad Boys spinoff looks like it’s picking up the action where season 2 left off.
Also revealed in the first trailer is the series’ return date which is set for June 8. The show focuses on Gabrielle Union’s Bad Boys II character Syd Burnett (sister to Martin Lawrence’s Marcus and ex to Will Smith’s Mike) and her LAPD partner Nancy McKenna (Jessica Alba). Season 1 found Syd and McKenna trying to survive both their partnership and the secrets from their own respective past.
Released by Spectrum Originals, the series proved to be a big hit for Spectrum and helped established their original programming roster. Season two is expected to to dive into even more secrets and action.
L.A.’s Finest season 2 premieres on June 8 on Spectrum.
