Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom (Final Trailer)

“Welcome to Jurassic World”

Nothing like hearing Jeff Goldblum’s Ian Malcolm utter a variation of those iconic words in the new trailer for Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom that has been dropped by Universal Pictures.

As Chris Pratt’s Owen and Bryce Dallas Howard’s Claire find, Isla Nublar goes completely nuclear about halfway through the film, thanks to an erupting volcano — and the second half of the movie becomes a tightly plotted thrill ride set within an epic estate owned by John Hammond’s business partner, Benjamin Lockwood (James Cromwell).

A recent Entertainment Weekly cover story on the film says the first half is a total dinosaur film while the second half is more of a horror film in its depiction of tension and atmosphere. The new trailer seems to convey just that.

Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom hits screens on June 22
