Jurassic World 2 To Be A Fun Follow-Up

While Jurassic World made plenty of money, the reviews were split on the 2015 hit. Director of the sequel, J.A. Bayona said in a recent interview with The Playlist that he hopes to make a fun movie.

“After doing ‘The Impossible’ and ‘A Monster Calls’ I said, ‘I want to have fun now. So, let’s do a dinosaur film with Spielberg. It’s great, but at the same time, it’s massive and way bigger than [the last] one. I think it’s very interesting where the new movie is heading. It’s so different from the other films, it talks a lot about the moment we live in right now. It’s darker… but at the same time it’s going to be a lot of fun. It’s a blockbuster, you have Chris Pratt, it’s a great adventure, but it’s very interesting the way the film is darker than the other ones.”
