Judge Jerry Earns Season Two Renewal

Judge Jerry will continue to entertain us with various small claims cases. The syndication courtroom show has been renewed for a second season in syndication.

The daytime show joins fellow NBCUniversal daytime newcomer, The Kelly Clarkson Show, in earning a pickup for 2020-21. The renewal is for clearance in 95 percent of the U.S. Tracie Wilson, executive VP of creative affairs at NBCUniversal Domestic TV Distribution, had this to say about the renewal:

“We’re so pleased that our station partners have recognized the success of Judge Jerry and have embraced this new side of him. Jerry and his staff have put their hearts and souls into this show, and we’re thrilled to have the opportunity to bring more compelling cases to our audience.”

Judge Jerry, featuring former talkshow host Jerry Springer, debuted in the fall of 2019 as the highest-rated new courtroom show since Hot Bench in 2014. The show is averaging 1.4 million daily viewers and a 0.5 rating in the key syndication demographic of women 25-54, ranking second among first-year talkers following The Kelly Clarkson Show.
