It had been awhile since news broke regarding The Batman and its cast. However, yesterday fans of the caped crusader received two huge bits of news regarding the upcoming film.
First came the news that Jeffrey Wright, star of Westworld and next year’s Bond flick No Time to Die, had opened talks with Warner Bros. to take on the role of Commissioner Jim Gordon, before Deadline revealed another casting news. Jonah Hill was being eyed to play one of many villains in the 2021 blockbuster.
However, tot even 24 hours have passed, a huge development in Hill’s potential casting in the film. Hill was reportedly offered a role opposite Robert Pattinson’s Bats four weeks ago, at which point he demanded twice as much money as the Bruce Wayne to be. The news was first reported by Variety’s Justin Kroll and while it should be considered as just a rumor, this is a huge development.
