Jason Blum’s Reaction To Screening the New Halloween

For fans of the horror genre, there is no film more anticipated in 2018 than Halloween. While little is known about the films plot, Jason Blum has already seen the first cut of the film as production wrapped a few months back. Blum has proclaimed the upcoming Halloween a success. n info we can get at this point. Speaking with Digital Spy, Jason Blum praised the way Green’s film remained true to the spirit of the Halloween franchise:

“I feel really good about it, I saw a cut of it two nights ago. I think David did a terrific job…He did everything I hoped he would do which is respect the DNA of the franchise and bring something totally new to it and we’re really very very excited for people to see it.”

While that sounds promising, Blum is the producer of the film, and he wouldn’t comment on the film in a negative light before one shot or trailer of the film has been released. Fans will continue to wait patiently for a trailer of image from the film.

Halloween will serves as a direct sequel to the first film directed by John Carpenter. Carpenter served as executive producer on the new film, and offered some guidance. Carpenter stated,

“Thirty-eight years after the original Halloween, I’m going to help to try to make the 10th sequel the scariest of them all,”

Halloween will be released this October.
