Jane The Virgin, Crazy Ex-Girlfriend & iZombie Set To End With Upcoming Seasons At The CW

It had been rumored for awhile but it’s official: Jane The Virgin, Crazy Ex-Girlfriend & iZombie will end after their upcoming seasons on The CW. It will be four seasons for Crazy Ex-Girlfriend while Jane The Virgin & iZombie will cap off at five.

The announcement was made during the Upfronts Presentation for The CW and the release of their Fall schedule. Crazy Ex-Girlfriend will be the first to end its run with a launch on the fall schedule while Jane The Virgin & iZombie will begin their farewells midseason.

All three shows are critically acclaimed and have passionate fanbases but they’re some of the lowest-rated shows on the network. Ex-Girlfriend & Jane The Virgin have given the network awards clout with both of their leading ladies taking home Golden Globe Awards after their first seasons. The CW should be commended for bringing all three shows back to give them a proper ending.

Jane the Virgin stars Gina Rodriguez as Jane, along with Andrea Navedo, Justin Baldoni, Yael Groblas, Ivonne Coll and Jaime Camil.

Crazy Ex-Girlfriend stars Rachel Bloom as Rebecca Bunch, along with Vincent Rodriguez III, Donna Lynn Champlin, Pete Gardner, Vella Lovell, Gabrielle Ruiz, Scott Michael Foster and David Hull.

In iZombie, Olivia “Liv” Moore (Rose McIver) was a rosy-cheeked, disciplined, over-achieving medical resident who had her life path completely mapped out…until the night she attended a party that unexpectedly turned into a zombie feeding frenzy. The series also stars Malcolm Goodwin, Rahul Kohli, Robert Buckley, David Anders and Aly Michalka.
