As Disney continues to be at the top of the entertainment world, the mouse company is able to take chances with their film adaptations and reboots. With that being said, the latest Disney reboot is sure to be one that will be divisive.
Walt Disney Pictures is reportedly developing a reboot of the Rick Moranis family classic Honey, I Shrunk the Kids, with Josh Gad possibly to star.
The original film was released in 1989, and starred Ghostbusters’ Moranis as a
mad scientist working on a top secret shrinking machine who accidentally zaps his own kids, reducing them to miniature size.
The movie’s family-oriented fantasy action proved a hit with audiences, as the film went on to gross $130 million domestically.
