Hawaii Five-O Renewed For Season 10 By CBS

CBS has renewed one of its more reliable procedurals for another season. Hawaii FiveO will be returning for season 10 on the network.

A contemporary take on the classic 1968-80 series, Hawaii Five-O stars Alex O’Laughlin as Lt. Cmdr. Steve McGarrett, the character originated by Jack Lord and Scott Caan as Det. Sgt. Danny Williams, the “Danno” played by James MacArthur in the original. The show co-stars Ian Anthony Dale, Meaghan Rath, Beulah Koale, Jorge Garcia, Chi McBride, Taylor Wily, Dennis Chun and Kimee Balmilero.

The popular procedural draws a strong audience on Fridays, averaging better than 10 million viewers. The renewal was guaranteed after new deals were inked for its stars Alex O’Laughlin and Scott Caan. The show also performs well internationally and has a streaming deal in place with Netflix.
